Prescott - Lancaster - Montreal

We made it to Montreal and to our first day off cycling!

We've been riding along the St. Lawrence and the scenery has been so breathtaking. From the Thousand Islands Parkway to the Long Sault Parkway all the to the confusing canals and paths through Old Montreal, we have been soaking up the beauty of Eastern Ontario and the first little bit of Quebec.

Highlights:
- Our campsite right on the St. Lawrence at Grenville Park. There were geese fights for entertainment, and they had a washer dryer in the bathroom!
- A line of baby ducks crossing our path on the Piste Cyclables Soulange.
- The shower at Sara's house where we scrubbed off the layers of sunscreen, sweat, and flies.
- Knowing with confidence we can put 70km behind us before lunch.
- Gill's knees stopped hurting.

Photos!
1) In Prescott we found an ice cream store inside of a lighthouse!
2) Us chowing down on said ice cream up the windy staircase of the lighthouse.
3) Our first glimpse of the bridge to the States just east of Prescott.
4) Our little home :)
5) This is how we make our marshmallows!
6) We almost took a wrong turn and left the country ... Whoops!
7) We made it to Quebec! "It's so different here!"
8) In Montreal, we met up with Gill's students from the Explore program this July.
9) Thank you to Sara and Malik for the fun times and gracious hosting :)
